MELLOW LIGHT V is the state-of-the art development based on the successful Mellow Light concept.
November 9th, 2010
Zumtobel, an international leading supplier of lighting solutions based in Austria is offering its latest lighting fixture range. Fully aware of its responsibility to the environment, the company’s newest lighting creation combines a sleek design with cutting-edge lighting technology.
Since the original Mellow Light, which it was based on, further developments have resulted in a quantum leap in efficiency. With a light output ratio of 95%, Mellow Light V is almost 30% more efficient than its predecessor.
The increased efficiency has been achieved by a combination of improvements in optics, diffuser and thermal management.
The internal reflector provides a reflection of 98 % and the lighting chambers’ diffusers have been changed from opal to prismatic.
The lighting fixture is available both as an LED version with 4000 K stable white light in 3000 or 4000 K and with conventional fluorescent lamp technology.
The Cool Spot Optimiser ensures that the lamps operate at an optimum temperature – the result is an increase in both efficiency and service life.
Mellow Light V luminaires can be seen at Zumtobel Australian Light Centres in major capitals.
