Maruni’s Hiroshima Collection designed by Naoto Fukasawa has found itself at home in some leading Australian residential and hospitality installations

The new Merewether Surfhouse overlooking the ocean near Newcastle, NSW, boasts expansive views and a light and breezy atmosphere that demanded furniture that would reflect the contemporary aesthetic.

The Hiroshima family of furniture features an ottoman, dining chair, armchair and lounge chair with matching sofas, dining, side and coffee tables.

With the interiors incorporating a generous use of Japanese- inspired slatted timber pole walls and lounges, the Hiroshima Armchairs and ottomans complement the fitout perfectly.

The Bates Smart designed “Vaucluse Residence” features Hiroshima Armchairs in oak timber with grey wool upholstery.

Available in solid beech, oak or walnut timber, black or white painted lacquer on timber, with or without upholstery,
