So we sit down with Karina Simpson, Hot Black’s Workplace Lead, to talk about the influence colour has on the workspace landscape through the prism of Herman Miller’s progressive colour philosophy.

Bene/Envoy launch PARCS

In close collaboration with UK designers Pearson and Lloyd, Bene has developed PARCS. On Wednesday 28 July Surry Hills’ Kvadrat Maharam showroom, along with Envoy, hosted an evening to showcase this new range of meeting and working clusters aimed at satisfying the need for more informal, diverse and integrated working areas in the office.

AT WORK WITH CAMIRA

The collaboration between global textile supplier Camira, and At Work* in New Zealand, is already a big success in Australasia. Maison et Objet 2015 Top 10 Highlights

This September I was invited to attend Maison et Objet Paris, an interior design and decoration trade exhibition, as the lucky winner of the competition held by InDesign Media running in partnership with Paris Design Week. Set across eight halls over five days at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, the show featured both international and local designers with an emphasis on innovative European design. As an architect and design enthusiast I am always on the lookout for inspiring and innovative design pieces and there was certainly no shortage here. These are a few of my favourite finds and trends from this year’s show. Report by Melanie Richmond.
