Havwoods’ history and experience in the Australian timber industry started 25 years ago. With Australia’s largest range of multi-layered hardwood timber flooring, Havwoods timber flooring is designed to give superior finish, durability and stability.

The Havwoods range is designed to meet most needs and applications with widths ranging from 140 to 220mm and thickness from 12.7mm to 21mm. With a wear layer of up to 6mm, the engineered boards combine the aesthetic appeal and practicality of solid timber (they can be sanded and re-stained throughout the life of the floor) and the advantage of greater stability. It is the ideal product for Australia’s variable climate as it vastly reduces the capacity of natural wood to expand and contract and thus prevents ‘warping’, ‘crowning’ and ‘cupping’.

Havwoods’ vast range of top-layer hardwoods includes Oak, Walnut and Jatoba in a range of finishes and colours. Demand for the Europlank range increases with many specifiers selecting it for walls and ceilings as well as floors. 14.5mm thick with a 4mm wear layer. The tongue and groove system makes installation easy and all boards are pre-finished with a tough matt or satin lacquer. All Europlank boards are suitable for commercial (5-year warranty)* and residential (30-year warranty)* applications, and may be used over underfloor heating*. This range is GECA certified.
The Venture Plank range are perfectly crafted oiled boards that receive two layers of German Hardwax oil, UV dried, making them highly scratch and moisture-resistant.

The Havwoods Essentials range are, as the name implies, key products which are priced keenly yet still deliver the level of quality you associate with the Havwoods name. This range of 21mm engineered hardwood flooring features a 6mm wear layer of European Oak – widely considered to be the very best oak in the world since the cool climate ensures tight growth rings.
The team at Havwoods also stock pre-finished recycled American barn oak which makes an impressive feature floor, wall or ceiling. To give you all the authentic beauty without the drawbacks normally associated with installing recycled timber, Havwoods genuine recycled wood is made into quality, 18mm thick, tongue and groove engineered planks, resulting in an easy to fit floor with little waste.

Havwoods Parquet blocks and panels are stunning, pre-finished flooring classics that are engineered to perfection. Havwoods herringbone blocks have larger-than-usual dimensions which add a contemporary twist. Their perfect proportions – the length is an exact 5x multiple of the width – means they are easy to install in a myriad of patterns such as herringbone and basketweave. Some Havwoods herringbone blocks are GECA approved.
Versailles panels are impressive 800mm square panels with a 6mm oak wear layer that provides ample opportunities for the sanding and refinishing should damaged ever occur.
