Design Studio Evie Group are set to open a pop-up shop at Sydney’s Gaffa Gallery in February.

Between 13 February and 3 March, Gaffa Gallery will be home to Evie Group – aka Alex Gilmour and Dominic Chong – as the duo hosts their very first pop up space and celebrates the launch of lighting collection Spun.

The Spun light is a floor, table or pendant lamp inspired by the classic wooden spinning top toy. Playful and decorative, the piece has garnered Evie Group much attention, earning a finalist spot in the 2011 Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Awards.

The Evie Group philosophy is all about products that are “simple, elegant and with a timeless aesthetic,” says the duo.

“Each Evie product has its own personality, told through the details of its design.”
