The use of rich timber profiles has elevated the warmth of this luxury residence, changing our impressions of what a display home can be.

When the HIA Housing Award winning team at Craig Sheiles Homes in Western Australia needed a superior timber detail that would serve as more than just an aesthetic accent, they turned to Screenwood.

The use of natural timber throughout the home has been echoed in the application of Screenwood’s Western Red Cedar panels to the dining room ceiling. This detail is then extended elegantly through to the alfresco dining space, visually and practically, creating a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor entertaining areas.

The styling decision to forgo carpeting or soft floor options in this instance has not meant that sound and noise management be of any concern. The use of Screenwood timber overhead provides maximum sound absorption with the integration of their exclusive acoustic textile.
As well as visually striking, the Screenwood specification has resulted in considered detailing that actively performs in creating a better living environment.
