Completed in 1931, the Wrigley Mansion, is a landmark of the Phoenix area and a critical part of the iconography. The Mansion enjoys the most dramatic views in Phoenix, spanning across the mountains and city below. A blend of many different architectural styles, the Mansion embodies elements of Spanish, California Monterey, and Mediterranean styles – a curious mix which presented Bromic heating with a wonderful opportunity to showcase the flexibility of the Eclipse collection.
When owner Jamie Hormel and her long-term restauranteur partner Christopher Gross decided to reimagine a new Christopher’s restaurant at the historical mansion site, they contacted Wendell Burnette of Wendell Burnette Architects to bring the vision to life. Wendell brought a breath of innovation grounded in practicality to the project. Wendell knew that in order to fully meet the demands of post-pandemic spaces, they needed an outdoor patio – and to have a patio, they needed warmth.
Finding a heating solution which did not distract from the breathtaking view of the Phoenix skyline or the historical atmosphere of the Mansion was priority one. Wendell worked closely with one of Bromic’s internal Heating Experts to get a complimentary customized heat plan for the project.
Outdoor heating has evolved drastically from simply placing heat-producing products in a space to creating innovative, design-focused necessities with holistic applications for all outdoor spaces. Striking the perfect balance between ambience and functionality, Bromic’s Eclipse Collection was the perfect choice to compliment the atmosphere of the space and provide comfort to patrons. The Eclipse Electric Portable outdoor heater and the Eclipse Dimmer Controller provide immaculate warmth to the outside patio, creating a welcoming space for all – at all times of the year.
Complementing the aesthetic of a historical space and improving its functionality is a difficult task to walk, especially for contemporary products packed with the latest technology. The Eclipse Electric Portable heater manages to integrate seamlessly into the aesthetic environment of any space while providing functional light, comfort and warmth to the venue’s patrons.
The Eclipse Collection’s contemporary design adds a complementary showpiece to the space without distracting from the overall historic atmosphere. Solving two problems at once, the combination of heat and light provided by the Eclipse Collection delivers an efficient all-in-one solution packed with comfort. Its free-standing design provides flexibility, meaning that it can be incorporated into the project without having to alter or be fixed to any structures.
Champions of beauty and warmth, Bromic endeavour to provide designers with creative, enchanting designs supported by cutting-edge functionality.
