New Forbo Marmoleum Unexpected Nature – naturally surprising
July 20th, 2011
Surprising and as natural as the places that inspired it is the new Marmoleum Unexpected Nature flooring collection.
Drawing on nature’s more unusual colours and colour combinations, it comprises nine marbles in unexpected fluorescent to rich colours, and nine charcoal banded options.
Fresh and uncompromising, the designs emit a tangible sense of tension through contrasts of soft and strong, saturated and pastel, rough and delicate, heavy and light and cool and warm.
All inspired by authentic, non-manipulated images of real landscapes, the unexpected colours lend themselves to the creation of combinations that push the boundaries of what we think of as linoleum.
Forbo Marmoleum is made of 100 percent bio-based content and carries more third-party, independent, LCA based environmental certifications than any other flooring material. It has a 100 year plus track record of performance and durability, and sets a benchmark unmatched in the resilient flooring industry.
Its permanent, natural properties kill MRSA and norovirus; it is naturally anti-static, R10 slip rated, features Topshield for no sealing, offers easy low cost cleaning and is Good Environmental Choice Award (GECA) certified (GECA 25-2011-Floor Coverings). Achieves SMaRT PLATINUM rating. ISO 14001:2004.
