A surreal and sensual tropical haven channelling the euphoria of 1980s Miami, II Bosco Artedomus, the new Artedomus showroom, is the perfect locale to showcase the full suite of Artedomus surface solutions.
Designed by Thomas Coward and Hana Hakim from The Stella Collective, the new Artedomus showroom is a breath of fresh air in the Brisbane design community, showcasing Artedomus’ suite of stone, tile and surfaces in an inspired, interactive environment.
“Australia does tropical design beautifully, so we needed to go above and beyond to deliver the unexpected to Artedomus clients,” says Stella Collective founder Hana Hakim on the design of the new space.

Hakim and Coward looked to iconic aesthetics of ‘80s Miami and the famous Fontainebleau and Eden Rock when designing the showroom, resulting in a unique and powerful narrative for Artedomus clients when visiting the new space. This is the third Artedomus showroom the pair have designed, following successful spaces in both Sydney and Melbourne, and they wanted to cultivate a new aesthetic suited to Brisbane’s subtropical climate.
The Fortitude Valley warehouse sees high ceilings and natural light offering the perfect backdrop for the beauty of Artedomus stone, tiles, architectural surfaces, bathware and furniture. Coward and Hakim conceptualised the customer experience as an inspirational and interactive journey from the reception, through the showroom and into the library.
Entering through a garden, the dream-like reception area presents itself with a dramatic marble desk and 6-meter-high curtains billow around it, framing the entire experience of the showroom as one of luxury and indulgence.
Colonnades of white screens shape and define the various spaces of the showroom, while plantation shutters and ceiling fans work to bring the familiar scenes of Miami from the past to the present. Throughout the space, curved catwalks, crystal chandeliers and marble-clad columns referencing the iconic work of architects Morris Lapidus and Sir Terence Conran pair with Artedomus materials in timeless, neutral colours and soft pink and deep desert hues, creating an experiential space that is as engaging as the Artedomus materials the showroom highlights.
The products themselves are presented in the context they inhabit in real life projects; such as bathroom settings, kitchens and living spaces. An outdoor apartment, like a tropical abode, features a kitchen, dining area and bathroom to showcase Artedomus’ exclusive finishes, furniture and products. This includes its New VolumesTM Collection 01 and Agape bathware, as well as custom-designed interchangeable screens and plinths.
A hotel-bedroom-style lounge serves as the showcase point for beautiful Cotto Manetti terracotta flooring, along with stunning furniture from Cult.
The customer journey concludes in the selection library at the showroom. It accommodates Artedomus’ extensive range of tiles, mosaics and architectural ceramics, and is a meeting place for designers and clients.

Artedomus has changed the face of architectural surfaces, and with this third showroom, the team are changing the experience of architectural showrooms for clients and design lovers alike.
