CDK Stone’s new Alexandria Selection Centre caters specifically to the needs of architects, interior designers and specifiers. More than a showroom – this innovative space inspires creativity, facilitates collaboration and simplifies the selection process for premium natural stone. Located in Sydney’s design hub of Alexandria, the Centre is the perfect destination for design professionals looking to elevate their projects with bespoke materials.
Designed by CDK Stone’s in-house team, led by Natasha Stengos in collaboration with Intermain, the Selection Centre integrates form and function to provide an elevated selection experience. On the evolution of the Selection Centre Tony Victor, Director of CDK Stone, shares that it’s “a reflection of our commitment to providing Sydney’s design community with the best possible access to premium natural stone. We have designed a beautiful space where clients can explore a wide range of natural stones and find the perfect options for their projects.”

Divided into two key zones, the Selection Centre features a refined showroom and a practical warehouse selection area. The showroom has been orchestrated as a series of experiences, beginning with the reception area, where a concierge counter and coffee station sculpted from Carpathian Marble showcase details that let the stone shine. With its bold patterns, rich brown tones, and soft neutrals, this statement piece showcases the versatility and luxury of stone in contemporary design. The joinery elements are not just examples of what’s possible with stone, but also showcase true collaboration with CDK Stone working with key fabricators, including stonemasons Stonen Fabrication, design development with Design by Jive, and joinery internals by Polytec.
At the heart is a curated sample library designed to meet the needs of design professionals. The library offers a hands-on experience, where CDK Stone invites architects and designers to bring their clients in and explore textures, finishes and colours in a peaceful and welcoming space. In here, a solid stone central table with a double bullnose edge detail anchors the space, providing a functional yet elegant area for collaboration.

Private meeting rooms further enhance the professional experience, offering an exclusive space for client presentations and material exploration. Here, stone is the focal point once again, with an Austral Dream Dolomite boardroom table fabricated by Stone Tech that speaks to the timeless beauty of Australian materials. These private areas are perfect for architects and designers to showcase concepts to their clients in a sophisticated environment.
To elevate each space even more, CDK Stone has collaborated with Saint Cloche art gallery. Curated artworks are integrated throughout the space, seamlessly blending art and design. The team also worked with Lights, Lights, Lights to create bespoke lighting solutions tailored to highlight the beauty of each stone.

At the rear of the Centre, the warehouse selection zone features custom A-frames to display the full slabs of natural stone. This area ensures that every material is shown with intention, helping clients visualise the impact these premium stones will have in their interiors. Tony Victor notes: “We encourage designers and architects to visit the Centre with their clients. Whether you’re exploring the curated showroom or accessing our extensive national inventory in the warehouse, this space is here to make the process of selecting natural stone seamless and inspiring.”
CDK Stone’s Alexandria Selection Centre is a space for discovery, inspiration and collaboration. It invites the design community to engage with the beauty and potential of natural stone in a setting that combines functionality with artistic finesse.
