Panton is acknowledged as one of the leading figures in Danish design, having worked under Arne Jacobsen before establishing his own independent studio for architecture and design. His designs are considered classics, and classics by nature will always be classic – even today Panton’s work is widely considered to be outstanding and edgy within the international design community at large.
