“We need to talk about how design can change the world – how design is essential to providing solutions to the problems of the world. INDESIGN does that and takes an alternative view. As an office we feel really supported by INDESIGN,” says Adam Haddow, director at SJB and one of eight design industry leaders at the centre of Indesign Media’s exciting new creative campaign, Your Moment INDESIGN. This is just one of the many valuable perspectives Haddow shares as part of the campaign, which saw Indesign Media team up with our long-time friends at Farage to capture eight leading industry figures in their element.
For more than 24 years INDESIGN has been devoted to recognising our region’s leading architects and designers and celebrating their outstanding achievements. For this exclusive campaign we invited eight of our most valued industry colleagues – and design heroes – to join us at the Farage concept store, where we captured them in their element.
INDESIGN’s provocative and insightful coverage and conversations have been influential in shaping the Australian commercial design landscape and documenting decades of outstanding Australian architecture, interior and industrial design. We are proud to offer our readers and fellow practitioners a professional resource and source of inspiration for architects, designers and specifiers, while also capturing the design thinking and thought leadership behind our region’s extraordinary projects, products and people.
When we dreamed up this campaign, we approached it as a collaboration, and the continuation of a decades-long conversation with our most esteemed peers. We wanted to get on the inside of how these eight talented individuals approach architecture and design, the philosophies they stand by, and how INDESIGN supports and elevates their daily practices.

Special thanks go to our collaborators Joe Farage and the team at Farage. The photo shoot was held at Farage’s beautiful, thoughtfully executed new ‘home’ in Sydney, where we captured these eight extraordinary individuals in their element, feeling and looking their best in pieces personally selected for them by Farage.
You, too, can take part in this dynamic, industry-led campaign and continue the conversation with INDESIGN.
