Ringing in 2017 with brand new digs, Krost hosted the local A+D industry for the launch of their new showroom. Thanks for the memories guys!

Team Indesign likes to party, and Krost sure knows how to throw a good one!
Can you solve the following equation?
86 years + 11,000 kilometres + ISO 9001 + ISO 14001 = …
Have you worked it out yet?
Well, here’s the answer:
ONE. EPIC. CELEBRATION.
You see, after almost 90 years of answering every furnishing need for the commercial sector, travelling across the pond from South Africa to Australia, and adding an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 environmental management certification, furniture supply powerhouse Krost just moved into their new premises – and trust us, there was plenty to celebrate!
Having been in Australia for over 25 years, Krost’s knack for providing us with complete office furniture solutions, as opposed to just product-by-product, has taken this brand and their portfolio of designs from success to success. Now opening their doors on a new era for the company, Krost’s new home represents so much of their identity.
The expansive, industrially-inspired warehouse in Sydney’s Mascot – artfully subdivided into a integrated network of user-engaging ‘zones’ – brings Krost’s manufacturing and customisation prowess into conversation with their hands-on approach to devising quality-driven furniture. With their entire product range on display throughout their new space, it wasn’t hard to see why they’re renowned for offering a holistic furnishing solution to the market.
And that market certainly came out to play for Krost’s launch! Packing out their massive new showroom, a staggering clientele list and many familiar faces of the A+D world feasted on a Mexican spread, enjoyed uniquely crafted cocktails and took advantage of (the outrageously fun) Flipbookme. Krost put a smile on every face at their launch – many of which we’ve captured below.
IndesignLive looks forward to the next chapter of this company’s inspiring journey. And we want to thank them for inviting us along to an absolute rager of housewarming!
