December 16th, 2010
Win a trip to Tokyo Designers Week for 5 days with Big River’s Timber to Tokyo Design Competition.
Would you like to win a trip to Tokyo Designers Week in 2011? Well, all you need is a little design inspiration and Big River.
Big River is the industry leader in high-quality hardwood engineered flooring and panelling products, and they are excited to be offering this amazing opportunity to turn their materials into new, innovative design objects.
Your challenge is to create a design using Armourfloor, Armourpanel, and/or Armourtile.
All you have to do is register your interest and register for a sample pack. Once you’ve come up with your design you’ll need to supply detailed drawings in digital PDF format.
A panel of expert judges will choose 3 finalists, whose products will be produced as one-off pieces for an exhibition to be held at next year’s Saturday in Design in Sydney.
The winner will also be announced at the event and in October will be off to Tokyo for 5 days including accommodation, entry to the show and $1,000 spending money to enjoy the Design festival. The 3 finalists will also receive their pieces to keep.
Click here to register your interest and get started on your design.
