Mico Design will launch a unique ‘Series’ of events for the design industry in April.

Mico Design are about to launch their Sydney ‘Design Series’ of events, to be held at their Liverpool Street Showroom.
Designed to provide a forum for the Architecture and Design community, the ‘Mico Design Series’ is a networking event, aimed at stimulating discussion on various industry topics. The series will be led by industry professionals and experts in their fields.
The launch will welcome Dianne Deane – Director of Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Scheme (WELS) – with ‘What is WELS?’ outlining the role of WELS and legal obligations required to meet WELS Standards in Australia.
The talk will include: WELS performance and rating requirements; processes for product testing, registering and labelling; and how WELS will continue to play a greater role in the specification of products in the future.
The evening will be catered for by Smeg Appliances, with on-site cooking demonstrations in the kitchen working display area of the Mico showroom, before the discussion commences.
This official launch of the ‘Mico Design Series’ will mark the first of a series of three for 2009.
Mico Design is a state of the art specification centre, showcasing innovative products from premium Australian and European manufacturers in the bathroom and kitchen industry.
Open exclusively to interior designers, architects and specifiers, Mico is a unique industry resource to assess products first-hand in one convenient location.
