For one night only, Ontera, Instyle and JSB are taking us back to a time when hair was big, colours were bright, and lycra was the norm.

Dance for Life is an annual event that pits design and architecture firms against each other in the ultimate dance off.

The brainchild of carpet tile manufacturer Ontera, textile experts Instyle and lighting supplier JSB, Dance for Life brings Australia’s A&D community together to raise awareness and funds for Inspire, an organisation helping teens and youths battling suicide and depression.
This year’s theme is the 1980s – that decade of synth, shoulder pads and boom boxes. Participating teams have been brushing up on their choreographed dance routines for weeks, getting ready to wow the crowds with their moves. Teams have also been busy raising money through sponsorship to further help Inspire in their mission.

The main event takes place at Sydney’s Paddington Town Hall on Wednesday 28 March. The dance-off – with live judging and feedback – will be followed by a free-for-all where everyone who attends can bust a move!
Visit the Dance for Life website for more information on the event, or to donate funds to a truly worthy cause.
