We’re delighted to announce that flooring company Bolon will be rolling out the carpet at Brisbane Indesign as an exhibitor.
March 2nd, 2012
Bolon was founded in 1949 as a traditional manufacturer of woven flooring; since then, it has grown into a cutting-edge company with a focus on innovative flooring and creative interiors, run by sisters Annica and Marie Eklund – the third generation of Eklunds to own the company.
Bolon’s commitment to the environment, use of the latest machinery, collaboration with other designers and never-ending imagination means that they are never short of exciting products to showcase.

2011 saw them team up with the Campana Brothers to create the world’s largest carpet mosaic; 2012 saw them announce a partnership with ’Architect Friend’, renowned French architect Jean Nouvel, kicking off with a collaborative display at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2012.

Bolon also kicked off the year with Create, their most versatile collection yet, inspired by Art Deco with a unique textured feel.
“The world of interior design will never be the same again,” said Marie Eklund of the hard-wearing, high performing new product.
The launch of Create coincided with the launch of the Bolon Inspiration Web Tool, a “fun and enjoyable web tool” that allows users to explore Bolon products and “build their own magical Bolon world,” said Eklund.

Constantly inventing and innovating, Bolon is one of those brands that always have a few tricks up their sleeve and a host of new things to share. Come and experience the latest designs and technology from this world-leading company during Brisbane Indesign.
