Asia’s longest standing art fair is set to take place in Taipei this November and is expected to draw in record-breaking crowds.
October 29th, 2013
Art Taipei, formerly known as ‘Taipei Art Fair International’ will take place at the Taipei World Trade Fair from November 8 to 11 in an attempt to challenge the enormity of the groups 2013 exhibition that gathered more than 150 galleries world-wide and delivered attendees of up top 52,000 – resulting in record high sales.
Following their success and in line with the groups determination to stand firm as one of the leading art fairs, Art Taipei 2013 is said to expand in both quality and quantity. More galleries from fresh regions are expected to attend the event which this year, aims to provide a broader view of diversified art set to satisfy coveted global collectors.
Previous annual events have focused on practice and presented themes such as Made By Art which aimed to explore the interaction, confrontation and harmony between art and life and to further examine the concepts of contemporary art.
Art Taipei 2013 presents the annual theme of After 20, 20 after, which hopes to appreciate the fruitful outcome after 20 years of efforts and experiences and to demonstrate the groups continuous passion and determination in arts.
The main exhibition area of Arts Taipei, Art Galleries, will feature more than 150 galleries with more than half from overseas. Exhibited works of art will be diverse following a multi-cultural range of exhibitors participating. Other gallery section halls include Art Classic, New Media, Young Art Discovery, Fresh Art and Exclusive Programs.
Arts Taipei will be on show at the Taipei World Trade Centre November 8 to 10, 2013.
