The Floral lighting fixture by New Zealand designer David Trubridge is a nature-inspired design that threads lightly on the earth.
March 2nd, 2014
Furniture designer David Trubridge is known for the simplicity of his designs, and for utilising natural materials and processes to create products that have as little impact on the environment as possible.
Trubridge’s work is produced in New Zealand and is widely recognised for its innovative and environmentally sensitive qualities. With his fascination with nature, the designer has developed collections that are inspired by flora, fauna and formations within the landscape.
Floral, featured here, is based on the structure of a geometric polyhedron. Every piece is identical, making home assembly easy. The kit sets also significantly reduce freighting, thus leaving a more delicate footprint.
The David Trubridge collection is carried in Hong Kong by Seventhirtyam
