Once again Dale Hardiman and Mark Dineen are pushing the boundaries on product design and thinking big – in fact world-wide large!

Thinking globally, Hardiman and Dineen are asking for contributors from anywhere and everywhere to populate this very interesting initiative.
The idea is to design a vase, upload an image of the object here with the hashtag #sharefolderfantasy. Submissions will be presented digitally on the website, while some will be displayed in an exhibition for the 2022 MDW.
If ever there was a way to connect global product designers and makers, then this is it.

It’s fair to say that there will be a diverse and wondrous array of vases submitted and the subsequent exhibition online will be very different to the usual.
Of course, there will also be the opportunity for a curated selection of the physical objects to be displayed from 17 – 27 March 2022 at the RMIT Design Hub in Melbourne, Australia.

For the record, the definition of a vase for Sharefolder Fantasy is, “any object that can hold or present another material, this includes car exhausts, letter boxes, an open book, or even a glass of water”!
The final date for submissions is 1 March 2022 and this is an opportunity for every creative to find their voice and design a vase – with the end result that their work will be showcased on the world stage.
So, what’s in a vase? Well, hold your breath and we’ll all see at MDW in Melbourne this March!
