Stylecraft opens new Collins Street showroom in Melbourne

Stylecraft opens its new Collins Street showroom, unveiling curated design spaces and Ross Gardam’s Dwell collection.
Stylecraft in Melbourne was abuzz last week. There were talks by Ross Gardam introducing Dwell, his latest furniture collection, alongside the opportunity to wander through Stylecraft’s new showroom, now located on Collins Street.
While the chance to hear Gardam speak about design is always a drawcard, the Dwell pieces were equally compelling, beautifully arranged with the various components of the sleek, modular system on display.
The new showroom is, in fact, an ideal setting not only for Gardam’s work, but for the many brands that call Stylecraft home. Carefully curated spaces and vignette settings showcase furniture, lighting and accessories with clarity, telling a layered story about how to live well in both home and workplace environments.
On Friday, the first day the new location opened to the trade, Stylecraft marked the occasion in style. Cocktails, a generous grazing table and a dedicated oyster bar provided guests with sustenance as they moved through the showroom and discovered the new space.
The 1000-square-metre showroom, designed by PTID and In Addition, encapsulates Stylecraft’s ethos and vision with ease. The interior strikes a balance between comfort and sophistication, allowing the furnishings and objects to take centre stage.

Though the site is narrow and deep, the upstairs level reveals another world entirely. Here, local brands including Ross Gardam, Helen Kontouris, SKEEHAN Studio and Keith Melbourne are showcased, alongside a fluro pink hallway that nods to Stylecraft’s signature company colour.
Now open and already settling into its new Collins Street address, the showroom offers much to see, touch and admire. Even without Gardam in attendance, the space itself provides ample inspiration. When next in Melbourne’s CBD, the Stylecraft showroom is well worth a visit.
