What does your company supply?
Tilo Tapware supply Australian Standard certified tapware, pop-up wastes, bottletraps, shower heads & arms as well as stainless steel sinks, spouts, ceramic basins and bathroom accessories.
How did your company come about?
Tilo Tapware came about by two directors seeking opportunity to bring European designed kitchen and bathroom products to the Australian market meanwhile ensuring that products meet and exceed industry standards and consumer expectations.
Where do you distribute?
Tilo Tapware currently distributes to Australian retailers all across Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales and Queensland. Interest has also been sparked overseas with enquiries from Malaysia, Singapore and USA.
Describe your customers?
Tilo Tapware provides a wide spectrum of products designed to cater for the architectural domain to builders and consumers. Our products have been featured in projects such as the re-development of the Rialto Building in Melbourne by the Intercontinental Hotel Group, Villiers Apartments North Melbourne by Equiset & Grollo Group, Trilogy Apartments Prahran by Caydon Property Developers, 206-216 A’Beckett Street Melbourne by Mercon Constructions, 2-8 Beavis Street Elsternwick by LU Simon Builders and numerous display homes including Vegas 29 by BH Developments and Grollo Homes in Dooreen to name a few.
What sets your company apart?
Tilo Tapware focuses on design, development, style, quality and durability. In our main lines we follow right through from research to initial design drafting stage to manufacturing, importing, distributing and aftermarket service. All our products undergo stringent testing and are backed with a manufacturer’s warranty for peace of mind. We use quality DR brass in a majority of our products as it gives optimum strength and resilience against corrosion for lifelong use. Our sinks are made from the highest grade 304 brushed stainless steel and carry a 25 year manufacturer’s warranty.

What are your client’s priorities at the moment?
Good use of space and increased living quarters. Clients look for products that will work well in confined areas. The product needs to evoke a sense of open space living maximizing areas for relaxation and recreation.
What is good design for you?
Good design is being creative with the requirements of the end user in mind. It needs to look contemporary, be highly functional in its space and endure the test of time.
What does the future hold?
Tilo Tapware is constantly researching and designing new product so the future will always be bright for us. Our objective is to change with the times and keep up with the demands of the public so we will always be at the forefront of current trends and requirements.
