Gibbon Group introduces DESSO AirMaster® – a patented innovative carpet tile solution that takes design and functionality to the next level.
May 25th, 2011
DESSO AirMaster® improves indoor air quality by capturing and retaining fine dust particulates 4 times more effectively than standard carpet solutions (PM10)1 and 8 times more effective than hard flooring (PM10)2.
Desso® made the natural decision to take an alternative route and go a step beyond mere sustainability and are developing carpet and carpet tile products that contain only pure materials which are safe for human use; materials that are biologically or technically recyclable at the end of their useful lives.
Desso® have committed to the Cradle to Cradle® principles and are currently the only carpet manufacturer who have earned a silver Cradle to Cradle® certificate for an entire carpet tile. DESSO AirMaster® has achieved Silver Cradle to Cradle® Certification using the DESSO EcoBase® backing.
With almost 80 years of carpet manufacturing experience, Desso® has earned an impressive reputation as a reliable partner and creative designer to the architectural and design industry. Desso® has four factories in Europe and specialist customer service centres throughout Europe, as well as in America, Asia, South Africa, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
