Tulip collection by Jeffrey Bernett for B&B Italia
October 31st, 2009
The Tulip collection by New York-based designer Jeffrey Bernett was designed with hotels and offices in mind. The range is available in two variations – Tulip Sixtysix and Tulip Sixty – is finished in leather or upholstery, and covered by a 10 year warranty.
Designed for use in breakout areas, lounges and waiting rooms, the Tulip Sixtysix has a swivel disc base of polished brushed aluminium. The Tulip Sixty, the more compact chair, was designed for meeting rooms and hotels. The shell is distinguished by its sloping arm detailing and is available in two options – a swivel base with four spokes in die cast aluminium, or a wire sled base in chrome.
The Tulip collection meets the Standards EN 1730:02 test methods for strength, durability and stability, and the EN 12521:01 mechanical and structural safety requirements.
