From Indesignlive publisher Indesign Media comes INDE. – the new benchmark for design awards in the Asia Pacific.
Our global industry is full of awards – too many awards, really. So why would we want to launch another awards program? Sure, there are countless awards that designers can participate in – the majority though, fall down on one critical factor – they aren’t industry-run.
This is a diverse and dynamic corner of the world, and with the INDE.Awards, Asia Pacific recognises its leading work and creative minds on its own terms.
The INDE.Awards are a new kind of program – by the creative industry, for the creative industry; recognising innovative design across the Asia Pacific in 2017.
“Championing the best in design and architecture across Asia Pacific has always been our number one commitment,” says Raj Nandan, Founder/CEO of Indesign Media “We can’t wait to celebrate this love of great design with you in 2017, the year of INDE.Awards”
A curated judging panel will be looking for the best of the best from across APAC. Stay tuned to see who’ll be in the running for…
The Building: The night’s top prize – awarded to a project that advances architecture and its capacity to respond to place-specific currents.
The Design Studio: Honouring the studio that thinks forward, creates voraciously and changes perceptions.
The Work Space: This award honours a workspace design that meets the demands of work and the needs of people.
The Living Space: We award the region’s most inspiring home, one that responds to one’s place thoughtfully and sensitively.
The Social Space: We honour a space that tells a relevant story, captures the imagination, and brings people together.
The Object: Not all objects are created equal – we award the region’s finest in modern industrial design.
Launch Pad: The Launch Pad program provides our design community with a vital avenue to nurture and celebrate original, authentic and innovative emerging design, supporting and cultivating the careers of the designers involved.
The Influencer: How does design change our world for the better? The Influencer is a person, product or project that represents how design impacts the region and the world at large.
Great design is accessible, and INDE. knows this. With this in mind, we launch the people’s choice awards. We can’t wait to see who’ll take home these inaugural awards.
The Prodigy: Forget following trends – this award honours a wunderkind who sparks them.
The Luminary: Whether casting a long shadow across many disciplines or excelling ahead of the pack in one, The Luminary recognises the ongoing contribution of one icon to our industry. It’s your choice.
