Echelon Products is proud to announce that their stabilizing table base RockSteady has received a 2010 GOOD DESIGN award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
March 2nd, 2011
Along with the other award winners, RockSteady will be on display at the Chicago GOOD DESIGN SHOW in June.
RockSteady is a table base designed to eliminate rocking on uneven surfaces. Intended for the hospitality market, it is suitable for café’s, bars and restaurants.
The design is incredibly simple and robust. To eliminate wobble, staff simply tap the table leg with their foot. No need to bend down or use their hands. It is much faster and definitely more hygienic that the traditional method of rotating adjustable levellers.
The most recent Australian customer to choose RockSteady is the new Opera Kitchen situated on the promenade of the Sydney Opera House. They have installed the bases throughout the dining area and are ideally suited to the outdoor paved surfaces.
RockSteady is made from stainless steel and is suitable for indoor and outdoor. It is supplied with a two year warranty and is engineered to last. Worldwide patents are pending.
