With showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Auckland, and presence in Adelaide and Singapore Designer Rugs was ready to bring its wares to the west.
A partnership with prestige furniture manufacturers S & M Mobilia means that Designer Rugs products are now available in Western Australia.
“Designer Rugs has many clients in Western Australia and this is a great opportunity to ensure they don’t miss out on the latest designs,” said Managing Director of Designer Rugs, Yosi Tal.
“They now have a local showroom to visit and experience our product offering.”
Salvatore Fazzari, Director of S & M Mobilia, is proud to be bringing Designer Rugs to the Perth market.
“Mobilia has always prized itself as being a family-run business that is synonymous with quality and service. Therefore when we decided to branch out into other areas of furnishings, in particular rugs, it was an easy decision to select Designer Rugs as the brand to represent in WA, as both businesses share a common ethos,” Fazzari said.
“We love Designer Rugs’ great focus on Australian design talent and love the way they blur the lines between the evolving worlds of fashion, art, textiles and furnishings.”
S & M Mobilia will stock designs from the Designer Rugs in-house and Designer Collections (including pieces from Catherine Martin, Dinosaur Designs, Alex Perry and Akira Isogawa).
S & M Mobilia will also be offering Designer Rugs’ signature custom-made rug service, able to tailor a rug to any personal taste.
