Poliform has launched the Arflex Limited Edition collection featuring Fornasetti, with the new designs curated by acclaimed stylist and style director-at-large for Belle Magazine Steve Cordony.
September 14th, 2015
Steve Cordony has embraced the iconic Arflex collection and re-loaded select pieces with the distinctive prints and patterns from Fornasetti fabrics. Fornasetti fabrics celebrate Piero Fornasetti, a Milanese painter, sculptor, decorator and engraver who created more than 11,000 items, featuring the face of soprano Lina Cavalieri.
The rich history of Arflex spans over 65 years, full of innovation and experimentation since its rise. For Arflex it is not only about making furniture, but also the journey which continues today pairing with Fornasetti. “Between Arflex and Fornasetti, these two historic design houses have so much history and yet are more relevant today than ever before,” says Steve Cordony.
To celebrate, Poliform showrooms were host to a design savvy crowd eager to experience the diorama exhibition showcasing the collection in vignettes set to take guests on a journey from past and present.
The limited edition collection allows a new appreciation of signature Arflex pieces that will be on display in an exhibition styled by Steve Cordony until 30 September 2015.
