The next Australian Institute of Architects Sydney Houses Tour is just around the corner.
October 13th, 2009
The Australian Institute of Architects will soon be holding their next Sydney houses tour. Visiting architect-designed homes throughout the harbour city and suburbs, their November tour will be visiting four homes: The Almost House by Wilkin Pini, The North Sydney Residence by Melonie Bayl-Smith of Liquid Architecture, Cammeray House by Eva-Marie Prineas and the Bronte Residence by Kevin Ng of Brian Meyerson Architects.
The tours also include lunch at one of Sydney’s best restaurants; this month at the award-winning Lahz Nimmo-designed Armony Wharf Café.
The next tour is on Saturday 14 November 2009. Meeting at Tusculum (the AIA Sydney Headquarters) the tours kick off early with breakfast before jumping on the tour bus. Spending around 45 miniutes at each house, the architects will be present to speak about the design and answer any questions.
