INSTYLE Contract Textiles has won three awards at the ’NSW Government Sustainability Green Globe Awards’
March 5th, 2008
Sydney based Textiles company, INSTYLE, entered the 2008 ’NSW Government Sustainability Green Globes Awards’ with modesty.
Managing Director Michael Fitzsimons (pictured) knew they were worthy of winning, but doubted their chances up against macro businesses Telstra, Sydney Water, and Mirvac to name a few monsters. More than 110 businesses entered the awards this year.
Much to the delighted shock of the 47-strong team, when the awards were announced on 28th February, INSTYLE were presented with three major gongs.
Taking home not only the ’Industry Environmental Sustainability Award’, and the ’Small Business Environmental Sustainability Award’, the team won the coveted award of the night – the ’Premier’s Sustainability Excellence Award’.
INSTYLE – specialists in the design and distribution of commercial interior furnishing textiles – make outstanding efforts to promote sustainable practices throughout all aspects of the company.
And now that they are officially recognised as a national industry leader in sustainability, the INSTYLE team prove once and for all, that size really doesn’t matter.
