Autumnal
Autumnal by Julia Gentil is inspired by the colour and playfulness of fallen autumn leaves on a garden path. In the design, multiple stipples in the overlapping leaf shapes are used to create a tactile and dimensional quality.
Willow, Plum
Willow
The beauty of nature often lies in the imperfections. Willow explores this idea in a design that demonstrates two pods working in harmony with fluid, imperfect lines.
Lichen, Pumice
Lichen
Lichen invites you to look beneath the surface and view organisms in nature from a different perspective. The gentle, organic and fluid lines here are inspired by fungi.
Berridale, Dusk
Berridale
Handmade earthen mudcakes laid upon leaves were created by frolicking children last Easter in Berridale. Such is Julia Gentil’s inspiration for this rustic and organic design, which melds the abrash look of handknotted rugs with the modern technique of tufting.
