The virtues of the versatile Zart meeting chair have earned it an iF Product Design Award 2013.

Available in both stackable and swivel models, Okamura’s Zart combines a slender frame with cushioned mesh to create an extraordinarily soft sitting environment.
The three-layer mesh construction provides excellent cushioning in the backrest, as well as a soft, comfortable seat. The seatback frame features 3-dimensional curvature so the mesh can conform optimally to every individual body.
The front edge of the seat curves downward to prevent the seat frame from digging into the back of the legs, further enhancing comfort.
The frame is made with 13-mm plated steel pipe, which offers both strength and durability. The frame structure is reinforced by a connecting component at the rear of the seatback.
The slender frame results in a lightweight chair that uses a minimal kit of parts. Each part of the chair can be disassembled with standard tools, and replaced individually for a long lifespan.
The frame is available in two colours (black and white), and can be ordered with or without arms. Seven mesh colour options are available with the black frame: light blue, dark blue, red, light beige, pistachio green, white and black. Four mesh colour options are available with the white frame: white, light beige, pistachio green and light blue.
Ganging glides are available as a standard specification for the stacking chair. The swivel-seat option offers a seat-height adjustment function, which is operated by a lever located under the seat.
Zart won an iF Product Design Award 2013 in the category of Office/Business.
