Imagine a task luminaire that allows you to combine individual elements and colours to fit your needs. That’s the new PARA.MI from Waldmann Lighting.
February 9th, 2015
With offices today increasingly characterised by flexibility, mobility and new technologies, lighting solutions can no longer be a ‘one solution fits all deal’. Instead, luminaires today have to offer solutions for different zones and areas in one’s workspace, and be attuned to work content, job profile, and the personal needs of the user.
With PARA.MI, designer Burkhard Schlee of Schlee Design has collaborated with Waldmann to set new standards in the realm of task lighting. The new PARA.MI lamp allows for the combination of individual elements and colours. One can choose between a round or square luminaire head, an adjustable single or double arm, a round or square base, and standing, clamped or suspended variations. With PARA.MI, personal design features and adjustments for the modern office environment have no boundaries.
Not only are the joints particularly striking in an otherwise sleek and unobtrusive design, they are also maintenance-free, self-locking and allow for a high degree of adjustability.
PARA.MI is fitted with a bright LED lamp that provides pleasant task lighting and an easily accessible dimming button. In addition, a specially developed, highly reflective plastic reflector ensures that your working environment remains glare-free.
What’s more, even with such impressive performance figures, PARA.MI is surprisingly economical in terms of energy consumption, with only 8 W of installed consumption for an average illuminance of up to 700 lx.
