Christine McGinnis has been appointed Singapore studio director of Wimberly Interiors.

Wimberly Interiors, an affiliated interior design studio of WATG, specialises in hospitality and experiential design with offices worldwide. Joining the local outpost as studio director, Christine McGinnis will lead a team of ten and support the firm’s expansion throughout Asia-Pacific. Prior to this appointment, McGinnis was the managing director of AvroKO in Bangkok, where she oversaw the firm’s development in Asia-Pacific.
Having worked in various sectors, including hospitality, restaurant, retail, corporate and transportation, the Ryerson University graduate who possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design brings two decades of global interior experience to the table.
McGinnis has served in various senior design positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Inc., where she shaped the creative direction for the Aloft and Element hotel brands, and was the director of design for St. Regis and The Luxury Collection. She has also handled the design schemes of every Westin project in Asia-Pacific and managed multimillion portfolio renovation projects for Starwood Capital Group and Columbia Sussex Corporation.
