As spaces all around the world become more compact, furniture needs to become multifunctional to help designers manage the floor plan more efficiently.
With that in mind, Japanese furniture company Kokuyo conceived the WORKFIT series of workbenches, management systems and meeting tables, each featuring customisable configurations.
Manage
WORKFIT supports the multiple agendas of the modern office worker’s daily schedule seamlessly, without taking up an overwhelming amount of space. Be it for one-on-one sessions or group discussions, the series helps to facilitate better communication and information exchange among colleagues.
Focus
For instance, the double-sided work desk features a removable desktop panel. When in place, it offers privacy, enabling each staff to focus on their own task. When removed, the work desk becomes a meeting table.
Discuss
Low height storage can be integrated with a cushioned top. The entire formation can be assembled to host brainstorming sessions, where files are easily retrievable to aid discussions.
Table with Castors
For tables to accommodate more people comfortably, the table legs can be pushed toward the middle of the desk without compromising on stability. Thanks to roller castors, the table can be easily pushed away when not required and locked in place when in use. Should there be uneven flooring, an adjustment grip enables users to adjust the height of the tabletop.
Cable Management Tray
The working areas feature a spacious cable management tray that can be accessed from all four sides, enhancing the ease of use. Even when the cover is closed, grooves at the sides enable the integration of a monitor arm clamp. For easy maintenance and configuration, the cover can be removed without requiring tools.

Apart from its functionality, WORKFIT is also versatile in aesthetics. Featuring clean lines and classic shapes, the stations can be adapted to suit various office interiors.
