Forget the formal (and sometimes awkward) networking sessions. Making memories with your peers is the future. And offering myriad elevated design experiences, Saturday Indesign is the perfect platform.
August 16th, 2019
What enters your mind when you hear the word ‘networking’? A formal (and often awkward) affair in a room full of strangers, akin to speed dating, but with less fun? We can do better than that.
Networking 2.0 is all about making memories with your peers. It is about the power of elevated collective experience that forges a lasting bond. How good is it to meet someone and reminisce? To be able to say, “Remember when we were there? Remember when we saw that together? Remember how great that was?”
Community is what makes place. On 12 October 2019, Saturday Indesign will celebrate design at the curated space at 72-13 and selected showrooms at the Tan Boon Liat Building with a variety of activities centred on the theme of ‘Community’.
The Theatreworks building at 72-13 Mohamed Sultan Road has cemented itself as our beloved Saturday Indesign Curated Space venue over the last two editions of the event. This venue is the epicentre of our Design Conversations and for one day, it will host some of the best brands in town and showcase their latest and greatest in creative ways, including installations, demos and special launches. Don’t forget the nibbles and tipples.
And if you’re in the design industry, you must have visited Tan Boon Liat Building. TBL is having a sort of renaissance recently, thanks to a cadre of stalwart local design furniture retailers and reputable international brands that have recently made the building their home on the Little Red Dot. This year, Saturday Indesign will be celebrated in the showrooms of 15 selected retailers in the building, each with its own program of activities, which we will reveal soon!
