Through the eye of the camera, the story of a home can be told in the images of the photographer and the winner of The Photographer – Residential category at the 2023 INDE.Awards leaves the door wide open!
October 23rd, 2023
The winner of the inaugural The Photographer – Residential category has been announced and congratulations go to Shannon McGrath for her submission of Evergreen House designed by Robson Rak.
As one of two new categories at the 2023 INDE.Awards that showcases the work of the architectural photographer, The Photographer – Residential tells a story of a home through images.

Images Makers Association Australia is the partner of The Photographer – Residential and is an organisation that represents, supports and celebrates professional and emerging photographers through education and industry connection.
The 2023 INDE.Awards jury commented that, “Shannon McGrath brings a meticulous and technically perfect execution to her work. On Evergreen House, long connecting rooms give the viewer a complete perspective of this stunning residence without detracting from the architectural intent.”

Throughout her 25-year career to date, McGrath has been commissioned by many of the pre-eminent architects and designers from around Australia. She is known for her beautiful portrayal of light and form that celebrates the subject matter.
Congratulations to Shannon McGrath for bringing a home to life through your lens and capturing the pure intention of a project.
