bulthaup’s b3 kitchen system is a comprehensive kitchen system whose application starts in the kitchen, but is not limited to it.
The role of the kitchen in our domestic environment has undergone a dramatic transformation – something illustration impeccably by the bulthaup b3 kitchen system.=. Once considered an unsightly area hidden from the view of family and friends, it has evolved into the social hub of the home. It has also become a place where design, technology and craft converge. bulthaup knows this. For almost seven decades, the leading German kitchen brand has continuously explored and pushed the boundaries of kitchen design.
Through rigorous research and development, bulthaup has successfully produced elegant solutions for today’s kitchens, from distilling and interpreting the requirements in the kitchen into simple elements, to developing a range of finishes and customisation options to suit every space and taste. The bulthaup b3 kitchen system is a comprehensive kitchen system whose application starts in the kitchen, but is not limited to it.
The range offers a slew of innovative elements including wall panels, shelves and a sideboard that are perfectly at home in the living space. Individually, these elements provide elegant solutions, and together with the kitchen components, they are more than the sum of their parts – as shown in the historic villa pictured, which sits in the Syddanmark region of Denmark.
The restored space is furnished with custom-made bulthaup b3 elements, comprising wall panels in walnut veneer and high-gloss lacquered cabinets and a kitchen island (dubbed the monoblock) in a timeless shade of flint. bulthaup b3 grants an active role to the kitchen wall, which is transformed into a functional element within the kitchen plan. Here, the gaps between the walnut panels can be used to attach sleek shelves and hooks with no visible supporting elements.
On the other side of the wall is the dining area. bulthaup b3 walnut panels and a wall-hung sideboard finished in the same high-gloss lacquer used for the kitchen create a seamless visual continuity that could easily extend to the rest of the adjacent living spaces.
In Hong Kong, bulthaup is carried by The Madison Group.
