Stylecraft’s Sydney team kicked off the festive season with Design A Ginger 2011. With the event still in its infancy, the second year running saw Sydney’s leading architectural and design firms embrace a little fun in the midst of pre-Christmas deadlines.

Armed with a folk gingerbread house kit, participants were left to their creative devices. The only rule: anything used on the house had to be edible.
With 35 amazing gingerbread house creations presented for judging, it wasn’t only the Stylecraft team who had difficulty deciding on a winner. Special guest judge, patissier Adriano Zumbo, was truly impressed by the efforts of the participants and, after much deliberation, announced the winner of the Design a Ginger Award 2011 as Quattro Design for their ’Little House on the Dairy’.
Highly commended were creations by futurespace, Uncarved Block and Luchetti Krelle.
