Taking an unused and uninviting courtyard space at Sydney’s famous bills restaurant in Darlinghurst, Sydney – Pepo Botanic Design have established a thriving, edible and alluring yard space.

Resurrected as a space for staff to enjoy breaks, a mini-oasis where produce is grown for use in the kitchen and to generally infuse the venue with a sense of lush escapism amidst the urban backdrop.

With the success of the courtyard revival, Pepo Botanic Design now proudly manages the greener side of things at all three bill’s outlets in Sydney: Darlinghurst, Woollahra and Surry Hills.

“It is great to have Pepo on side looking after our gardens and responding to our restaurants’ gardening needs” enthuses the management team at bills.

Bringing together an eclectic mix of old stone, collected curios, feature planting such as Strelitzia, Bamboo and Bromeliads, Pepo have tied in a functional element by including edible flora such as Mint, Lemongrass, Thyme and and assortment of other herbs.
