Australia’s Gibbon Group – suppliers of quality niche interior finishes – announce that Tretford TILE will now be available in Australia.
January 27th, 2009
Since launching into Australia in 1996 Tretford Cord Carpet has established a reputation with architects and designers as a highly regarded flooring finish.
With its strengths being a unique hard-edged look and stunning colour palette, Tretford has continually offered an exciting design solution for nearly 50 years – Tretford is a proven classic.
Now, Tretford TILE – produced for nearly as many years in Germany – has come to Australia. Gibbon Group has responded to the growing demand and now stock Tretford Carpet Tile in a selection of colours.
Made using hard-wearing goat hair fibres and again with Tretford’s unique look, the tiles are laid at right angles where the corded finish creates a subtle chequerboard effect.
The Gibbon Group represent a range of quality niche interiors finishes to the architecture and design community; their strength is finding that stand-out product which may not fit traditional channels of distribution.
“We have had an ongoing commitment to sourcing environmentally sustainable products and Tretford’s fundamentals in this area make it a desirable finish for Green Star projects,” says founder Ainsley Gibbon.
Tretford TILE and ROLL have ISO14001 and GECA approval is pending (due early in 2009)
