The new work from prodigious Brisbane designer Alexander Lotersztain for Derlot Editions is a fully rotomoulded litter bin. Its curved and squat body give the bin a friendly aspect almost bordering on kawaii.

The TOT’s bayonet style cap comes in a range of colours, so the bins can connote different waste purposes like recycling separation. There’s also a stainless steel cap available for smokers’ bins.

Signage and plate logo are also customisable, so the TOT could display company logo or waste disposal information as preferred.

Manufactured by PALAMONT – art in manufacturing, the liner and bin are made of 100% recyclable plastic, and between them is a water-fillable cavity that can act as a ballast. The liner also has built in ergonomic handles, so the TOT is easy to clean and maintain.

The TOT also comes in a junior version, and the body of the bin is available in a range of colours to suit its intended space.
