The Collection is Australia’s first comprehensive resource for interior designers and anyone else wanting to source interior products. At over 400 pages, The Collection includes extended entries on the leading interiors suppliers in Australia, listing their company profiles, contact details and providing visually inspiring spreads of their latest and greatest design products.
The Collection grew out of Indesign magazine’s unique ‘dissection’ concept – detailed listings of the products and suppliers featured in Indesign’s articles. After 25 issues, we saw the potential to compile this information into a highly comprehensive resource for the interior design profession.
The result is The Collection, summarising over 120 heroes of high-end commercial interior products plus contact details for more than 1,500 suppliers in the master directory. The book also features substantial introductory essays on the latest trends in interior design, as well as an ESD glossary outlining sustainable terms used for design products.
The Collection website consists of downloadable pdfs direct from the book, which provide a visual snapshot of featured suppliers and their best products from around the world.
Split into four sections – finishes, fixtures and fittings, furniture, and lighting – The Collection website also includes quick links to the websites of featured suppliers. A fully searchable, comprehensive online database of interior products and suppliers is also being developed.
