New to the Tide range is the handmade Yo dining chair.
May 25th, 2011
As with many Tide pieces, curves contrast with straight lines to produce a chair with strong sculptural elements, as seen in the cutaway of the back leg and the curved and angled front apron.
In side view, the angle of the back legs gives the Yo a dynamic stance and a sense of movement. Pleasing from any angle, the Yo’s tapered legs enhances this dramatic effect and also provides a sense of lightness.
Careful attention has also been paid to ergonomics, detail and construction resulting in a chair that will be enjoyed for many lifetimes.
