The new $314M Parramatta residential development, Promenade No 2, is the first overseas project for Starryland Australia, a local division of the Chinese publicly listed company, Fuxing Huiyu Real Estate Co Ltd based in Wuhan, China.
October 26th, 2015
Located on the Parramatta riverfront at 2 Morton Street, Promenade has been designed to capture the panoramic river and city views, light and surrounding landscape. Designed by architects, Turner Design, the development is a bold architectural statement with bronzed ‘lantern’ structures crowning the buildings.
The vision is one of openness and connection to the water. Reflecting the contours and hues of the riverside landscapes, Promenade No 2’s lines and simply framed geometry embraces vibrant public and private areas within and alongside the building. Inside, each apartment forges a special affinity with the Parramatta river and park settings with layouts designed to capture this. Communal areas include expansive timber decks, BBQ facilities and a retail plaza complete with convenience stores and cafes.
Strategically located ready for the rollout of a new multi-billion dollar transport network, the development offers connectivity between Parramatta and Western Sydney.
Construction on Promenade No 2 will begin in December with completion proposed for early 2018.
