HYPE), Rebecca Trenorden (Carr), Jan O’Connor (Environa) and David Kaunitz (Kaunitz Yeung Architecture), this session is your chance to take a layered look at sustainability in design. This session shares the story of Artisan founder Fadil Ćostović, whose family’s appreciation and multi-generational connection to wood not only survived family tragedy and war but has gone on to become an award-winning design and innovation manufacturer located in Bosnia, which specialises in the manual production of high-quality furniture made from solid wood, their insistence on manual artisan work is what sets them apart.
Leone Lorrimer (GHDWoodhead Australia), Greg Hogg (Hogg & Lamb), Tristan Wong (SJB), Kate Frear (Woods Bagot) and Jeremy Napier (Sculptform) will share their insights into the vision and process that put their projects top of the game, and help you understand how to achieve industry recognition for your work.

Bringing together acclaimed design curator, editor and gallerist Carla Sozzani and Christian Andresen, Head of Design at internationally renowned Danish brand Fritz Hansen, this live conversation moderated by Indesign Editor Jan Henderson will explore the process behind creating a new colour palette for one of Fritz Hansen’s most iconic designs, and dive into the importance of colour in design more broadly.
From steam ovens to warming drawers, and downdraft induction cooktops, hosts Chloe Skipp (Winning Appliances) and James Garvan (James Garvan Architecture) will showcase the must haves for any kitchen, from the masterchef and entertainer to the traditional home cook. Chloe will also demonstrate several recipes using these technologies.
