With its Connect concept, Zenith is helping organisations utilise emerging technology to transform building operations and deliver inspirational experiences to all their employees.

As our working lives slowly return to normality, it is technology that is connecting us with colleagues and customers around the globe, and supporting new and innovative ways of working. Mobile technology, smart devices, building management systems and more are among the solutions being integrated into modern workplaces that have an impact not only on the quality of the physical space, but also on the dynamics of its use.
Smarter work environments powered by connected devices and intelligent software are a gamechanger for business operations. They have the potential of greatly improving the work experience by increasing functionality, security and convenience, particularly for organisations grappling with the shift to hybrid work, agile workspaces and flexible teams .
As curators of the modern connected workspace, Zenith offers a range of products that utilise the best emerging technologies that can be integrated into furniture solutions. The company’s expert team can help clients in creating technologically-forward workspaces that make employees’ lives easier, and allow people to feel inspired and motivated by their work environment.

The digitisation of the workplace is what underpins Connect, a Zenith concept that sees it take the role of digital transformation partner and holistic workplace specialist. As successful digitisation requires integrated, collaborative and long-term strategy, the Zenith Connect team works side-by-side with their customers. By sharing insights and understanding the customer’s technology and furniture needs, the team ensures a company-wide roadmap is adopted, which coordinates budgets and timelines for an effective transformation across the business.
This curated engagement model enables Zenith Connect to develop furniture that successfully aligns with digitalised work, and overcomes the complexities of integrating hardware, software and the associated human centric interconnections. The company partners with experts in digital immersion, connected systems, motorised automations, power storage and power distribution to ensure furniture solutions are innovative, functional, and secure.

For organisations looking to create agile workspaces for flexible teams, Floorsight, Floorsense, Smartalock and Rooms provide services that enable a highly functional and completely secure work experience.
Floorsight is a desk reservation system that enables organisations to make each desk and hub bookable. A streamlined check-in/check-out system modernises the old hot desking concept, giving employees agency over how, when and where they work. With their smartphone, employees can pre-book their preferred destination while on their commute, and check in on arrival by tapping their smartphone or access card on the Floorsight integrated desk puck.
An occupancy sensor called Floorsense can be installed under desks to accurately track the presence of a person at the work point. Additional capabilities, such as an integrated power-relay that disables the desk’s power until a user has checked in at the work point, provide increased efficiency.
Rooms extends occupancy monitoring and on-demand bookings to the meeting room by providing the ability to book the physical space to support virtual meetings created in other systems. A rich analytics system reports on room occupancy in relation to room size, allowing organisations to identify peak usage and gather accurate data that will assist with the efficient provision of amenities.
In the agile workplace, people are working from different stations each day, so employees need somewhere to safely keep their personal belongings. Smartalock combines best-in-class lock hardware with intelligent software to offer assigned lockers for employees. For added convenience, Smartalock can be programmed to work seamlessly with building access codes and employees’ smartphones.
