Cosentino has unveiled the Silestone Eternal Collection – a seductive new range of Silestone that pays homage to the world’s most sought after marbles using fourth-generation nanotechnology.
August 1st, 2017
Cosentino opened a new, 35,000-square-foot regional logistics centre in Singapore in July (click here for the story) with much fanfare. The celebration included the unveiling of the latest offering from Silestone: the Silestone Eternal Collection.
The collection comprises six spectacular shades that pay homage to the world’s most sought after marbles, including Calacatta, Carrara and Black Marquina marbles. The Silestone Eternal Collection takes it up a notch by not only emulating the splendour and aesthetic of the natural stones convincingly, but also enhancing their technical performance using new technology.
The collection is manufactured using Cosentino’s patented N-boost technology – the fourth generation of Silestone technology. Silestone revolutionised the world of quartz surfaces with its superior performance when it was first launched in 1990. In 2005 it did it again with the creation of bacteriostatic protection for the material. And the subsequent enhancement, launched in 2012, changed the way we experience quartz surface with its suede matte finish.
Hailed as Silestone’s 4.0 revolution, the recently launched N-boost technology modifies the surface of the material at a molecular level, further enhancing its technical performance and aesthetic properties. It produces a greater colour intensity; resistance to impact, scratching and staining; and easier maintenance.
The Silestone Eternal Collection is produced in large formats (up to 63 x 124-inch slabs) as well as customised formats in a polished or suede finish.
