Parquet Carpet Collection by FRONT for GAN

Front used overlays and visual effects to create a geometric puzzle in the latest GAN kilim collection. The building blocks of Parquet are simple geometric figures with four to eight sides. There are three models of reversible kilims: Tetragon, Rhomb and Hexagon. The three designs are made completely from pure new wool in manual looms in India. In Singapore, Gan is carried by Proof Living.

Geoffrey Mirror & Valet by Allain Gilles for Ligne Roset

Ligne Roset‘s Geoffrey mirror was designed by Belgian Allain Gilles to serve as your own private butler, welcoming you at your front door or into your bedroom. It was named after Geoffrey, the butler of the American TV series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The mirror appears to be floating, since the frame doesn’t extend fully around the mirror. The horizontal bar serves as a rail to the movable brass dish. Contact Ligne Roset’s Singapore store for more info.

Flow Rocking Chair by Shibuleru for Living Divani

Living Divani first presented Flow at the Salone del Mobile 2017. US-based Shibuleru invites relaxation with an ultra-light structure in gunmetal-painted steel. The upholstery is in fabric, leather, hide or woven fabric. In Singapore, Living Divani is carried by Dream.

Giravolta Lamp Collection by Basaglia Rota Nodari for Pedrali

Giravolta took centre stage at Pedrali‘s Calvi Brambilla-designed stand. This wireless light (suitable for outdoor use) was inspired by lanterns of times past. The name reflects its essence: the swivelling diffuser and the rechargeable feature recalls the great inventor Alessandro Volta and his main discovery, the battery. In Singapore, Pedrali is carried by Xtra and Made & Make.

Finesse Bookshelf by Karim Rashid for Riva 1920

Made of solid wood, Riva 1920‘s Finesse shelf by Karim Rashid is characterised by asymmetrical supports in curved and shaped plywood covered with leather, into which are fitted solid walnut shelves. In Singapore, Riva 1920 is carried by Proof Living.

Utility Sofa by Neri&Hu for Stellar Works

Stellar Works showcased the Utility Sofa by Neri&Hu, which has been reimagined with a more refined silhouette, combining comfort with practicality and offering a sophisticated take on the enduringly popular industrial aesthetic. In Singapore, Stellar Works is carried by P5.

Chair 118 by Sebastian Herkner for Thonet

Sebastian Herkner interpreted the ‘Frankfurt Chair’ in a contemporary way for Thonet with Chair 118. Herkner worked with the Thonet principle of reducing a chair to the fewest elements possible but added refined details. The shape of the chair legs is an example: they are rounded on the back and characterised by slight edges on the front, referencing the horseshoe shape of the seat. In Singapore, Thonet is carried by Xtra.

Chips Chair by Lucie Koldova for TON

“I like to work with translucent materials, so in this design I chose a visually light yet intentionally oversized backrest, which is made from perforated fabric framed by manually bent wood,” describes Lucie Koldová the key features of Chips, which she designed for Ton. “I wanted a chair that would be defined by its gentle curves, a chair that would be comfortable and inviting at first glance. A solitary piece with a distinctive character and story. And in contrast to a conventional chair, I wanted a chair that would feel sexy.” In Singapore, TON is carried by Grafunkt.

Panton Chair Anniversary Edition by Vitra

Fifty years after its launch, Vitra is issuing two limited editions of the iconic classic: Panton Chrome and Panton GlowPanton Chrome is produced with a special metallisation process, in which metal particles are embedded in multiple layers of varnish. It will be available from March 2018. Panton Glow (available from June 2018) is produced with an elaborate process in which five layers of a varnish containing phosphorescent pigments are carefully applied by hand to the raw polyurethane shell of the Panton Classic and sealed with a high-gloss protective coating. Bundle Sofa by EOOS for Walter Knoll

“The idea: in the beginning was a blanket or rather a two-dimensional swatch of fabric. In a matter of seconds, we created an object by turning and folding, a spur-of-the-moment sculpture. A simple, rational procedure aiming at both seizing and freezing the spontaneous action such as folding, captured the instant thus giving form to an emotional quantum: the Bundle Sofa for Walter Knoll.” – EOOS. In Singapore, Walter Knoll is carried by Proof Living.

Strips Sofa Anniversary Edition by Cini Boeri for Arflex

The modular sofas Strips, designed in 1968, is solidly positioned in the history of Arflex and it is one of the brand’s most famous products. Designed in 1968, it was awarded the prize Compasso d’Oro and is displayed in several museums around the world. In Singapore, Arflex is carried by Space Furniture.
