Ensuring top quality, a metal finishing house that serves Harley-Davidson was engaged to transform each sculpted airfoil through an hour-long buffing process. After which, the artisans hand-finish each piece to ensure a flawless surface.
This version of the polished aluminium Haiku 84 was not intended for the market initially. It started off as a surprise, custom-made birthday gift for Big Ass Fan founder Carey Smith. The team had posted a photo of the fan in Smith’s office on social media, which sparked off enquires, and soon it was available in the market.
Each polished aluminium Haiku 84 comes with white cotton gloves that can be worn during installation to protect its gleaming surface.
